1 About DODAT

DODAT is a talent recruitment and audition platform that allows individuals to apply for talent opportunities in various categories through an online application process.

Our recruitment process may include:

• Online Application
• Online Audition
• Physical Audition
• Final Selection

DODAT provides applicants with an opportunity to participate in the recruitment process. Participation does not guarantee selection, employment, sponsorship, representation, contracts, or any future opportunity.

2 Eligibility

To use DODAT, you must:

• Provide accurate and truthful information.
• Meet any eligibility requirements published for the current recruitment season.
• Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
• Have legal capacity to enter into this agreement or obtain parental/guardian consent where required.

3 Applicant Registration

Applicants may register:

• Directly through the DODAT platform.
• Through an approved DODAT Agent.
• Using an official Agent referral link or referral code.

All applicants are treated equally regardless of how they register.

Using an Agent does not provide any advantage during the recruitment process.

4 Agent Registration

DODAT may approve individuals to participate as independent Agents.

Agents are authorized to:

• Refer applicants.
• Register applicants with their consent.
• Assist applicants with completing applications.
• Pay application fees on behalf of applicants if they choose.
• Track applicants referred or registered by them.
• Earn commissions in accordance with DODAT's commission policy.

Agents are independent participants and are not employees, partners, or legal representatives of DODAT.

5 Application Fee

Applicants must pay the required application fee before their application is processed.

The application fee covers administrative and operational costs associated with the recruitment process.

Payment of the application fee does NOT guarantee:

• Selection.
• Advancement to another stage.
• Invitation to a physical audition.
• Employment.
• Representation.
• Sponsorship.
• Endorsements.
• Contracts.
• Prizes.
• Any future opportunity.

Payment only grants the applicant the opportunity to participate in the recruitment process.

6 No Refund Policy

ALL APPLICATION FEES ARE FINAL.

By making payment, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Application fees are non-refundable.
• Payments cannot be cancelled after successful processing.
• Failure to pass the online audition does not qualify for a refund.
• Failure to be invited for a physical audition does not qualify for a refund.
• Failure to be selected does not qualify for a refund.
• Failure to attend an audition does not qualify for a refund.
• Withdrawal of an application does not qualify for a refund.
• Disqualification due to violation of these Terms does not qualify for a refund.

7 Recruitment Process

The recruitment process generally includes:

1. Application Submission
2. Payment Verification
3. Online Audition
4. Screening
5. Physical Audition (for shortlisted applicants)
6. Final Selection

DODAT reserves the right to modify the recruitment process whenever necessary.

8 Selection

Selection is competitive.

Applicants acknowledge that:

• Only shortlisted applicants will proceed to subsequent stages.
• Judges evaluate applicants based on established criteria.
• Judges' decisions are final.
• DODAT is not required to explain selection or rejection decisions.

9 Agent Commission

Approved Agents may earn commissions for eligible applicants they recruit.

A commission becomes eligible only after:

• The applicant has successfully completed registration.
• Payment has been successfully received and verified.

An Agent may choose to pay an applicant's application fee on the applicant's behalf.

Such payment is voluntary and does not create any obligation on DODAT to reimburse the Agent.

Any financial arrangement between an Agent and an applicant is strictly between those parties.

DODAT is not responsible for disputes arising from such arrangements.

10 Agent Responsibilities

Agents must:

• Act honestly and professionally.
• Provide accurate information.
• Respect applicant privacy.
• Obtain applicant consent before submitting applications.
• Follow all DODAT policies.

Agents must NOT:

• Guarantee selection.
• Claim to influence judges or recruitment decisions.
• Collect unauthorized fees.
• Submit false applications.
• Misrepresent DODAT.
• Engage in fraudulent activities.

Violation may result in suspension, termination, forfeiture of commissions, or legal action.

11 Applicant Responsibilities

Applicants agree to:

• Submit truthful information.
• Upload authentic documents.
• Attend scheduled auditions when invited.
• Follow instructions issued by DODAT.
• Conduct themselves respectfully.

Providing false information or fraudulent documents may result in immediate disqualification.

12 Support

DODAT provides a support system for applicants and Agents.

Users may submit inquiries, complaints, or technical issues through the official support channels.

Support responses are provided within reasonable operational timelines but are not guaranteed within a specific timeframe.

13 Intellectual Property

All DODAT trademarks, logos, branding, software, designs, content, and platform materials remain the property of DODAT unless otherwise stated.

Applicants retain ownership of their original creative works.

By submitting audition materials, applicants grant DODAT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use such materials for recruitment, evaluation, promotional, and operational purposes.

14 Privacy

DODAT collects and processes personal information for the purpose of administering applications, auditions, recruitment activities, account management, fraud prevention, and platform operations.

Use of the platform is also governed by the DODAT Privacy Policy.

15 Suspension and Termination

DODAT may suspend or terminate any account that:

• Violates these Terms.
• Engages in fraud.
• Provides false information.
• Attempts to manipulate the recruitment process.
• Misuses the platform.
• Harasses staff, judges, Agents, or other users.

16 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DODAT shall not be liable for:

• Loss of opportunity.
• Loss of income.
• Technical interruptions.
• Internet failures.
• Delayed submissions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• Decisions made by judges.
• Disputes between applicants and Agents.

17 Changes to Services

DODAT may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update any part of the platform, recruitment process, eligibility requirements, schedules, or services at any time without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

18 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms become effective once published on the DODAT website.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Nigeria.

21 Acceptance

By creating an account, submitting an application, registering as an Agent, using an Agent referral, paying an application fee, or otherwise using the DODAT platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

You further acknowledge that:

• Payment of an application fee does not guarantee selection or success.
• Application fees are non-refundable.
• Registering through an Agent does not increase your chances of being selected.
• Agents earn commissions based on eligible registrations and verified payments only, not on applicant selection or success.
